Hamahirugao, Sea bindweed Calystegia soldanella (L.) Roem. et Schult.

Leaves are kidney shaped, thick and shiny, without epidermal hairs. This species is distributed as a beach plant widely from temperate to tropical regions. Photo of cultivated plant taken 1990.6.28.
